The 'Bug Studio Professional' is a specially designed stick insect cage, with the following features:
  • Four crystal clear PVC sides to make viewing your insects from all angles easy.
  • Each side has many ventilation holes*, which also help your insects to climb around the cage.
  • Plenty of space for your insects to climb and shed their skins (the cage is 46cm tall, 25cm wide and 25cm deep).
  • Easy access via the sliding roof.
  • Despatched assembled and ready to use, with a colour information sheet.

*Please note that a few species of stick insect require less ventilation, these include:

Malaysian (Heteropteryx dilatata)
Sabah (Aretaon asperrimus)
Giant Sabah (Trachyaretaon asperrimus)
Guadeloupe (Lamponius guerini)
Thailand Winged (Sipyloidea sp)
Borneo stick insect (Phenacephorus cornucervi)
Vietnamese (Baculum extradentatum)
Vietnamese Bark (Neohirasea maerens)
Peruvian (Oreophoetes peruana)
Thailand Miniature (Parapachymorpha spinosa)

Please also note that whilst the cage is perfect for adult insects and some larger nymphs, it is advised that most nymphs, including Indian stick insect nymphs, are kept in a smaller, less well ventilated container until they are about one month old, when the can be transferred to the Bug Studio Professional.

(The stick insects, bramble and food pot pictured are not included).
